01 — Origins
Eric grew up around broadcast equipment in The Hague. As a teenager he was already on set at REVIC Broadcast Video, learning cabling, tape-based editing, client delivery and broadcast workflows in a working family-owned production company. Later, he helped restart the family business as FAVB.
02 — Hospitality & Diving
After moving to Latin America, Eric spent years working across hospitality, dive operations, underwater video and instructor development — eventually becoming PADI Course Director and co-founding ScubaCaribe Dive College, recognised as PADI Platinum Course Director four consecutive years.
03 — Pioneer
In 2010 Eric founded Cancun Live Weddings, one of Mexico's first companies dedicated to professional wedding livestreaming. He produced 300+ live wedding broadcasts for international destination weddings before successfully selling the company to SmileMarket, a subsidiary of Kodak Mexico.
04 — Scale
Through OnlineAVP, Eric and his team produced and delivered 800+ hotel videos across Mexico and the United States for PriceTravel, managing multi-location shoots, production teams and post-production workflows at scale.
05 — Systems
At INSPIRE México, Eric spent seven years leading marketing strategy, digital systems, website development, SEO, marketing automation, CRM implementation, content production and the launch and growth of INSPIRE Academy.
06 — Today
Today, Eric helps international agencies and global brands deliver successful live, hybrid and broadcast productions in Mexico through Castelein AV — combining technical production capability with international business development experience.
