I built a company that couldn't afford to miss.
My path to co-founding First Impact Live started decades before the company existed — inside a family broadcast business in the Netherlands, then years producing destination-wedding livestreams and corporate video across Mexico, then as a partner at Castelein AV. First Impact Live is where that experience goes to work now, for organizations that can't afford a dropped signal.
The Path
Not an overnight production company.
Broadcast roots
Grew up inside the family's broadcast and video production company, REVIC, in The Hague — cabling, tape-based editing and format conversion between political news shoots and commercial productions.
Livestreaming before it was normal
Founded Cancun Live Weddings, one of Mexico's first companies built specifically to livestream destination weddings to audiences abroad — built the technical infrastructure from nothing and grew it into a recognized name across the Riviera Maya.
Corporate video, at scale
Founded OnlineAVP to handle production, livestreaming and technical AV at scale, including directing the production of 700+ hotel videos for PriceTravel across Mexico and the United States.
A partnership in international markets
Partner responsible for growing the international side of Castelein AV's business — event production in Mexico for international agencies bringing their show across the border.
